Looks like there's a problem with the carb on my V50's YS56SR. A friend and I tried everything we could think of to get it started, but it wouldn't fire up. Not even close. So, I pull the engine today and check it out. To be on the safe side, I've ordered about two hundred more in parts. If this doesn't work, I'm buying a new engine. Scott

Damn, that really sucks Scott. Seems like this crash repair is getting very expensive now. Sorry to hear that.
I don't have any nitros, but, here is dumb question. Did you try starting the engine with the helicopter flipped on it's side, or even upside down? I have repaired many chain saws and weed trimmers in my spare time in my garage, and I have found that when there is a problem with the carb, they will still almost always start and run in at least one position. I have a chain saw that I am repairing right now that will start and run fine while laying over on it's right side. Turn it in any other position, and it quits. I put a spare "test" carb on it and it runs fine.
Air intake systems can cause lots of problems on small engines too. The tiniest intake leak will prevent it from starting. If you remove just the air cleaner cover on a small lawn mower, it will not start or run.
I know it's a little off topic, but might help in some way, I dunno...

Thanks, Jerry. Yesterday, I called ExperienceRC and talked with Tony and Steve about this problem. They pretty much told me what you told me. So, I've got some things to go over when parts arrive. Also I called the switchglo folks because my switchglo pro is not lighting the glow plug. While I was talking to them, I found a spot where the case had melted. I'm sending it back to them for replacement. This is a weird one... I turn it on, I get the tone saying the plug is glowing, but there's no glow.
Seems like a lot of stuff broke, but I'm pretty sure the carb issue is what caused the forced auto.
