What size servos does that frame use, mini or full size?

Hey Fred, I have read nothing but good from guys using the full size Hyperion Atlas DS 20 FMD's on the Hurri 550. You might want to check the dimensions of the DS 16 FMD's and see if they will fit. I was considering the 16's for my 425 build, but got a heck of a deal on some Spectrum DS821's so I am gonna use them for now with the plastic frame to see how I like it as a 425. I think Scott is running the full size DS 20's on his HeadHunter framed 550. Maybe he will chime in with his thoughts on the Hyperions. Here is a link to the DS 16's. www.allerc.com/product_info.php?cPath=40&products_id=3974

For the money, you simply cannot beat Hyperion servos. Period. I have the full-sized servos DS20X SMD's as cyclic servos in my Head Hunter framed Hurricane 550. They are the shiznit!
You could do a lot worse for the same prices.

oops forgot the pics Are those G10 fins? I wonder if they fit the belt tail and if you can get them separately or not.

I don't know, Ivan. They sure don't look like the stock plastic. What I did with mine, granted it's a 550 with 92mm blades, was use the T-Rex CF tail stab and horizontal stab, re-drilled. That may be overkill for the 425. I would think T-Rex 500 fins would work, but you'd have the markings. Alternatively, you can contact Custom Heli Parts, (on the Readyheli site, they list a fin set for the 550-same as 425-fin set, but it's out of stock and not listed on the Custom Heli Parts site), at : customheliparts.com/store/contact_us.php. I have heard where they'll make you a set, but I can't confirm. I also looked at the gaui site and can't find the part, like you. Scott
