This site was formed a little over a year ago to give Gaui owners, or perspective Gaui owners a place of their own to share their RC hobby experience, offer their advice, or find answers to their questions.
Of course, the site is not limited to Gaui brand helicopters as we welcome all RC aircraft enthusiasts.
Whether you are looking to build your first Hurricane 425/550, or just want to add to your fleet, we here at Gaui Helicopter Talk want to help by giving away a free basic Hurricane 425 kit. As an added bonus, we will also include either a set of 430mm FRP blades, if you wish to build it as a 425, or, we will include a long-boom conversion kit if you want to stretch it to run 550mm blades. The winner will have the choice of either one to be included.
The helicopter kit and long boom conversion kit were purchased from RCDumbthumbs, a great place to get your Gaui heli's and parts. Their service was top-notch, and I recommend them for your Gaui helicopter support.
The rules of the contest are simple. Just post a reply to this thread for a chance to win. It doesn't matter if you post a simple " count me in" , or tell us in detail why you would like to have this kit. Multiple replies are welcome to keep up with any discussions, but, will not have any impact on the final drawing. Each member that replies will have his/her name entered for a single chance to win. The contest is open to all registered members ( excluding staff)
The contest will end on May 31st at midnight Eastern Daylight time, at which time the names of all that replied will be thrown 'in a hat', and a single name will be drawn. The winner will have 1 week to claim the prize after the "official announcement" by replying to this thread. In the event that the winner does not reply, a second name will be drawn, and so forth until a winner is declared.

P.S. In the future, we might also be looking into giving away one of Scott's HeadHunter Helicopter frame upgrade kits for the Hurricane 425/550. I can't confirm that yet, but, it might be a possibility.
EDIT: I just wanted to add that any 'visitors' to the site are encouraged to register, and will also be eligible for the contest if they wish to reply to this thread. All registered members will be eligible regardless of when they joined.
