Below are two pictures showing a failed 20 tooth OWB gear. It happened while doing pitch pumps today in my back yard. It resulted in a (thank the Lord) successful 60 foot autorotation. That's two bullets dodged this week! Scott

Parts ordered from AlleRC.com. I also ordered a 42 tooth front gear and a 19 tooth steel OWB. That will give me slightly over 2500 rpm at the head. Talk about wild? I'll have it on hand, just in case. I'll be putting back the 20 tooth gear. Cool thing is that it will take about two minutes to install and get back in the air! Scott

I have read about others having that happen too, but not sure if it was the 19T or the 20T. Glad you got it down ok. You are getting pretty good with auto rotations, huh.

LOL! I dunno...It's amazing what a person can do if they don't have time to think about it! I'm just happy I land the way I land. I dunno if it helps, but it can't hurt! Scott
