Hey everyone, my name is Jim and I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. First off, let me get it out now that I'm new to cp helis. Whereas I've spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on surface rc's and have flown fp heli's I'm not exactly new to the hobby but am definitely new to cp and hopefully 3d soon. Now I'll get to the part that's gonna get you guys all rolling on the floor laughing. I've just finished building my very first cp heli and since I like the finer things I chose the X2. I got the bare bone kit and chose HiTec HS5065MG's for the cyclic and went with the MKS DS95i for the tail. I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade a few things right off so I picked up the carbon/CNC Alum tail boom supports and also a CNC belt drive gear. For the recv'r i decided to go with an AR6210 with a sat and pair it with a Microbeast. What's funny about this you may be asking yourself. . ? Nothing at all it's a respectable build so far IMHO, the funny part is that I have never even flown once so I'm gonna try n learn how to fly cp with this thing, lol. So as you can imagine I'll be asking many future questions, lol, i even have two already. Can I use 245mm blades on the X2? And can I use a trex 250 main gear to replace the flimsy stock red one? Also, I'm considering swapping out the Beast and replacing it with a Bavarian Demon due to the bailout feature, anyone have thoughts on that? TIA guys, talk to you soon.
