Have any of you guys used the Dimension Engineering SportBec? I use a separate rx pack on my 550, but to keep the weight down on my 425 build I was thinking of using a SportBec and running the electronics from the flight battery. Anybody using one? Any pros and cons?

I used one on a T-Rex 450 until I burned a motor and the speed control. I had it on for several flights before the shutdown. I removed it when I replaced the parts and had no further trouble. Can I positively state that the BEC was the problem. No, but I could never find another source of trouble. Yes, I had it connected properly.....Rich

I ended up getting a Hobbywing ubec that Bill uses as he seemed to be real happy with his.
