New HeadHunter frame coming soon

After building my first HeadHunter framed Hurri a while back, and really happy with it, I decided to order another HH frame from Scott to convert one of my 425's. It is an awesome upgrade for the plastic framed Hurri 425/550.

Since Scott takes the time to pre-assemble the frames to check everything for proper fit, it might be a week or so before he has it ready to ship out. No problem, perfection takes time, lol.

Not sure exactly when I will start on this project as I would like to get in a little more flying with the donor helicopter before the windy, rainy, fall season arrives here. If you are interested in a HH build, check back here often as I will post some details on the build as it begins, and progresses.

For those of you that have a plastic framed Hurri, you will be amazed at how much better your helicopter will be with a new HeadHunter frame. I know, I already built one.

It will likely go out Tuesday. Unfortunately, I've been overwhelmed with family commitments and my day job this week. But, Jerry is right, I take the time to make sure everything is where it's needed.

I know all about family commitments, and I changed work shifts 3 times in the past 6 weeks which makes for a tired, confused body. Whenever you get to it is fine with me. Just hoping to have a new HeadHunter 425 to fly next summer.

A brief update.

Scott contacted me and told me that my new HeadHunter frame is all fitted up and ready to ship. Since we might still have a few more weeks of nice flying weather here, I may not start this build for another month or so since I am planning on flying the plastic framed "donor" helicopter until the weather goes south here.
Maybe, maybe not as I have 3 other Hurri's to fly anyhow. Not sure if I can sit here and look at that "carbon fiber porn" without wanting to start fondling it.
