I could not deside on going to the field or watching the steelers game. Well I stayed and watched the game. They won and I still got in 40 mins. of flying time. Last week wasn't that good. The boom on the 400 keep slideing in on every flite. I adjusted it and thghtened the four screws as thght as I could I even got my son inlaw to do it .It still slipped in.I checked the frame for cracks found nothing. So I put soom goop on the boom at the frame that stoped it.I picked up a new boom belt and servo boom clamp.I don't want to just change parts I want to know way this is happening?

GO Steelers!!! ;D
I don't have any experience with the B400 as I never owned one, but I did have that problem on one of my King 2's once. The boom would not stay in place in the frame. I never did find any reason for it, except maybe a small amount of wear that I couldn't see.
What I did was use a course piece of sandpaper ( 80 grit ) and used it to roughen up the end of the boom where it went into the frame to give it some "bite". Never had a problem after that.

It happens on the B400. People use a piece of scotch tape on the boom to keep it from sliding.
