It's here! I also ordered blades, tail and main. Eric Brandenburg turned me on to and outrageous deal on MKS HV servos so they're on order, too. I will take my time on the motor and tail servo selection. Scott Attachments:

Lookin good Scott. I finally got a chance to finish checking out your build thread today. The other day, I read the first 10 pages and I was like, dayem, where's the pics, lol. It seems there was a lot of interest in your build thread and the pages started adding up before you really got started on it. I'll check up on it every few days or so to see how it is coming along.
Good luck with the rest of the build.
Jerry

Damn, really sorry to see that bro. Looks like quite a bit of damage there. Although it happens to all of us, I never like hearing about a crash.
I think that is probably my biggest reason for not going FBL on any of my helicopters. I have read about hundreds of crashes on the forums from people that were "tweaking" their set-ups and something just didn't jive. Although I hate crashing, I prefer to crash from my own 'dumb thumbs' rather than a mechanical/electrical/set-up issue.
Hope you get her repaired and back in the air soon.
Jerry

The damage apart from blades was about $70.00. The boom was bent upward at the base, so that's gone. I'll have it flying again, Saturday. Scott

Good deal, but I'll bet those blades lighten the wallet quite a bit.

Quite, bro. Late yesterday afternoon and early evening, there was some really bad weather blowing through. Just a bit south of here several tornadoes touched down. LOTS of damage. Homes destroyed. Thankfully, from the the thing I heard, nobody was seriously hurt or killed. This winter has been ODD. Scott

Glad to hear that nobody was badly injured or killed up there. I agree that this winter has been odd. Really odd here. Usually in March it is in the 30's (F) and 40's here. Sometimes we get very heavy snow in March too, from a Nor'easter rolling up the coast. I shoveled snow once this winter. The past week has been in the 70's (F) here, and the long range forecast is for 60's and 70's for the next couple of weeks. Hope it don't snow in May.

No worries bro. I threw the 'other shoe' at George Bush, lol. I am hoping to fly this weekend myself, that is if the wifey don't have too many honey-do projects. I can see her jotting down her list already.
