I have recently purchased a Gaui 424 and was wondering if anyone could help With a list of servos, esc's and Motors that could be used with the basic out of the box heli. I am looking for a fairly moderately priced range. On finless bobs page he said that the servo openings in the frame were set up for Futaba or Hitec servos,so which model of these would you recommend

Hmmm, I wonder how I missed this post??? I think there is a glitch in the "posts since last visit" feature as this seems to be the 3rd one I missed in the last week. Anyhow, the plastic frame is made to accept any 'full sized' servos. I use Spectrum DS821's on cyclic, and I think others use the "20 series" Hyperion servos. Mini servos will fit with the included adapter plates, but I don't recommend them. For the motor, something from 1300kv to 1600kv works best for the 425. I have a Tonic-X Z20-1470kv in one of my 425's and a Scorpion 3026-1400kv in the other one. Make sure the motor you choose has a 5mm shaft to fit the Gaui pinions. For the esc, I would recommend something that has a higher amp rating than the peak rating of the motor just to be on the safe side. For instance, if your motor is rated at 60amps max, I would get at least a 70amp or higher esc. There are so many brands of electronics to choose from that it is hard to name specific brands. Any of the well known brands should work just fine. Sorry for the delayed reply. Jerry
