Hi Everyone,
I am the proud new owner of a Hurricane EP200 v2 kit. I have been active in the hobby for about 6 months now. I started out with a pile of RTF FP but soon discovered that I was spending too much time repairing them and not enough time flying them. So I decided to start over with a build from scratch. I sold almost all of my RTFs and am hoping to concentrate on the EP200 so that I can better understand how it works. After all, it doesn't make sense to me anymore to buy an RTF, crash, and then see how it works during the repair process.
I hope to learn from the members on this form some insights on the build process as well as tuning. I hope that someday I might to be able to share my experiences that will spare newbies aggravation and $$$s.

Welcome Mark, If you are fairly new to flying, you might find that little 200 a handful to learn on. If you are building a flybarred version, I would suggest adding some flybar weights to calm it down a little while learning to fly it.
Good luck with your new build.

and some expo on the cyclics to start with and a max of +8deg and -4deg collective.
While enjoying the build you should invest in a good simulator too, i use phoenix and it saves a LOT more in crashes than it costs.
