Just saw a post somewhere that Gaui killed the 200. Went to their website and they state that parts will cease in June of 2012. The bad thing is they just updated the head and released new versions not long ago. So many people just got a new heli that they won't be able to get parts for in a year. Looks like the end of the flybar too. To make things worse they had discontinued the blades grips a few months back, then released an updated version. The updated version has never made it outside of Asia the best I can tell. So for the last 3-5 months, if you needed a blade grip you had to order from someplace like flying hobby. So basically they are saying parts support will officially end in June of next year, but in practice they have already quit parts support with parts not making it to the US and now 200 blade grips are NOT available anywhere. I"ve got a ton of parts and honestly might producing some myself when I get my small cnc running. But either way, I'm done with Gaui products when I buy my last 200 part. Cory

Gaui does have a strange way of doing business. Sometimes their actions make little sense, but I guess that's part of the allure.

Agree with Scott, Gaui seems to do some strange things. I don't think they are discontinuing the 200, just discontinuing certain kit versions of it. The only way to know for sure would be to email them and ask I guess, although their English isn't very good, and their answers are usually pretty vague.

Vague, yet sometimes contradictory all at the same time. I've emailed them a few times and have yet to learn much of anything. Hopefully they haven't killed the 200. Cory

I'm betting at this point it is only some of the 200s. They also made the 100's death official and say parts will be around for it till June of 2012, which is good news.

I read it as the 200 and 255 is being replaced by the X2

Maybe, I would think they would have marked the other 200s as discontinued also. Being that I built a 200 about 2 months ago, this will be my last Gaui if this is the case. I've got a ton of 100 and 200 parts and am real close to setting up a ebay store and liquidating.

Well, that looks like a typical Gaui response, lol. Kinda vague, but they do try to be helpful. Here is my GUESS from the response and the kit numbers that are being discontinued. I think there are 2 different versions of the EP200 and only the "V2" version is being discontinued. It is a little confusing but Gaui seems to call one the EP200, and the other one the EP200V2. The photos make it more confusing since I thought the V2 was the one with the black frame and the pic shows a silver frame. Even more confusing is that my 200 is one of the older ones and was originally listed as an 'SE', but I think it is pretty much the same as the ones being discontinued, I dunno.
