I have only two batteries for my HeadHunter. One is dying slowly, I can only get about 3 minutes out of it before the headspeed really drops off. And the other I semi taco'd yesterday. I can probably use the taco'd battery, but I would always worry about safety. So, I'm looking at Voltz 3300 45C's for the HeadHunter and Voltz 2600's for the T-Rex 500, and Voltz 4500 45C's for my Furion 6. There goes $500.00 just like that. Scott

Hey Scott, If you want to save a few bucks, I would recommend that you try out a couple of the GForce batteries from Value Hobby. I have been using them for 3 years now and they work great for the money. I have no complaints at all with them. I am still using the 3s 3300's in series on my 550 that I got 3 years ago, and they still fly great, although they are now starting to puff a little after a hard flight. I got several of their 6s 2650's for my HeadHunter 500 and I am very happy with them. Great power, and only putting back 1650mah after a 5:00 flight, and they barely get warm even in 90 degree temps. I recently got 6, 3s 2200's for the BH450 and they work great too. Only putting back in 1300mah after a 5:00 flight. Just beware of the listed weights though, as I have found the batteries to be only about 88% to 92% of the weight listed on the site. www.valuehobby.com/index.phpJerry

I've got one of their batteries for my T-Rex 450pro. It worked great, but I had two balance leads pull out recently. Scott

Hmmm,, that's a bummer Scott. I have more than a dozen of them and never had that happen yet. In fact, I have never had that happen on any of my batteries. You must have been too rough with it, lol. I think they must use poor solder or cheap wire in China. I read a lot of stuff about people having to re-solder wire's on esc's too. Remember me telling you about the motor connector on my BH450 coming off? It had pre-soldered bullet connectors on the motor.

Yeah, it is odd because they're supposed to comply with directives to use lead-free solder. The problem with lead free is that you need higher melting points so it's probably their process. Bummer.
