Does anybody know why the Spektrum DX7 has been discontinued? Geez, it is only THE most popular radio among newer guys in the hobby. Not everybody needs 10+ channels in a TX that costs over a grand. I guess they did it to try and sell more of their new DX8's, which, btw, I have heard of many people having problems with. I was thinking of buying another DX7 for back-up in case something happened to mine, but I can't even find one now that the DX8 is out. Guess I will have to look for a good used one. Anybody have a good used DX7, mode 2, heli version that they want to sell for a decent price, lol? ?

I heard about that, too. I've been thinking of getting a DX8 so maybe this is the thing that forces my hand. I dunno.

The days of DX7 are over. I am using DX8 and not looking back - this radio is such a leap forward. DX7S (same as DX8 just one channel less) is coming out this month to replace old good but quite primitive DX7.

I love my DX7 but I maxed out model memory long ago. I love my 9303 for flying planes but the throttle hold switch just does not jive when flying helis. I tried out a DX8 and just did not like the look or feel of it. I am currently looking at the 9503 and 11X to replace both my TXs. I will likely trim down rudder DR and TH switches to get them to work better for me flying helis.
