Hi All,
I am having a prob lem with my 255. When I first got it I only flew it indoors.
For the past few weeks I have bee trying to fly outdoors with it.
When in normal mode it flys OK, but as soon as you put it in Idle up mode 1 or 2 it crashes within a few seconds.
I first I thought it was my settings, but I have just been told on another forum that another flyer had the same problem. It turned out to be the ESC.
Has anyone else had a problem with there 255 cutting out in idle up mode.
Cheers,
Fred

Mine has been nothing but stellar. Super smooth soft start, excellent control of head speed, plenty of power.
What exactly is happening? Is the ESC shutting down? BEC dying out?

Not sure whats happening, but as soon as I flick it up to idle up one, and try and do a roll, it seems to just stop in mid flight. First time the tail spun round and round like no drive to tail, second times the blades just seem to slow down and stop, the heli just fell out of the sky. Both the first and second time idle up was flicked on during flight. The third time I started the heli up and just before take off I ficked to idle up one and within a second it started to dance around, and flip on its side. I did notice that after this crash the swash plate had split and was in two halves.
