Is it possible to get a decent canopy for the 425? I know 550 ones will fit but won't they look a bit oversized on the 425? I see you can get a plain fibreglass one but other than that one there doesn't appear to be any 425 canopies available. I've seen this nice canopy on the 425 FES but I haven't seen the canopy for sale anywhere

I've seen it to buy. Gaui 204167. Though it's for the carbon frame. Anyone know if it would fit the plastic frame?

I don't see why it wouldn't fit the plastic frame. Jerry... can you think of any reason why it wouldn't fit? Presuming of course batteries are mounted in the V shape?
Battery mounting is about the only thing I can think of that would stop that canopy from working.

To be honest, I don't really know what the difference is between the one for the plastic frame, and the one for the CF frame. I have seen this same question asked dozens of times over on Freak too, but nobody ever had an answer.
I would think battery mounting like Scott said. The 425 CF frames have a single mount for a 6s , where as the plastic uses the duel 3s battery mount. The CF canopy might be shorter. I know MikeJ uses a Trex 500 canopy on his 425 CF framed Hurri, ( his is stretched to run 500mm blades), but I doubt it would fit on the longer nosed plastic frame.

Thanks. I may go for the fibreglass canopy as it's not too bad value at £22.

I may order one this week to see if it fits on my HeadHunter... the Fusuno's for the 550 kinda make the helicopter look like a dachshund! Scott
