Hi,

Just joined your forum so I thought I better say hello.

My name is Fred and I live in a large town called Blackburn, Which is in the UK.

I have been flying now for about 4 years and flown mainly T-Rex's both Electric and Nitro.

Must admit I hated the Nitro say I stuck with the Electric.

I have had 2 x 450, 3 x 500 and 3 x 600. I had to sell up at one point due to the birth of my little girl (Anna) Now that she is nearly 2 I have started to get back into flying again.

My first thought was cost of flying. So I got my first Gaui 550 which I was running off 2 x 3 cell batteries and also using the same batteries for a trex 450. I loved the 550 so I bought another one. One is now fully bling an d the other is stock plastic frame. I used to fly a Trex 250 indoors but I have now sold that I got the Gaui 255 which gives me the best of both worlds small enough for indoors but still quite happy outside. Therefore the 450 trex will be up for sale soon.

I do not work due to a disability, but like to get out as much as possible flying.

Hope that this site will be full of useful information and hope that I can contribute in some way or another.

Hello Fred,
Thanks for joining us. Sounds like you already have quite a bit of experience in this hobby.
I have never owned any Align helicopters, but many of the guys on here do. The site is still relatively new as you can tell by the number of members we have, but, we all try to help each other out in any way we can here.
If you have any questions, just ask and someone will try to answer it. If you have any advice, please post it for others. Also, if you have any suggestions concerning the site please let us know. Every member has a voice here, and we listen.

I would imagine that this site, as well as others will be a little slow this week with the IRCHA jamboree going on here in the U.S. this week. I know for a fact that some of the guys here are at the jamboree right now.

Nice to see you back Fred. I hate computer problems as I don't know too much about them. But, Scott (dunkonu23) has a lot of experience with them and helped me resolve my last computer problem, so, you might even be able to get some computer help here.
