Hi Jhazz... I don't have a 200 sized helicopter, but I think Jerry does. Perhaps he can point you in the correct direction.

Hello Jhazz, There are a few of us here with Gaui 200's so we should be able to help. Do you have a specific set-up question, or are you new to collective pitch helicopters and are not sure where to start? Let us know what questions you have and we will do our best to get you up and flying. If you are new to CP and have no idea where to start, that could take a little time to explain in words, but, we can do that for you too. Knowing what brand of radio you are using would help too. Do you have a manual for your 200? If not, here is a link to the Gaui manual download page. The manual is for the V2 but most of it applies to the older versions too. It is much better than the manual that comes with the helicopter. www.gaui.com.tw/html/download.aspJerry

Hi there It may be a couple of things with the motor, 1) is the throttle channel the right way round, try reversing it, ESC's only arm with the throttle at minimum. 2) Make sure that the normal throttle curve is allowing the ESC to see an off position ie: point 1 on the curve is at 0 or less BTW......... are you doing motor tests with the motor out of the frame or in position, if the latter then obviously dont have the main blades on or the bolts loosly in the blade holders, Take them out, i shattered a window many years ago running up a 50 size nitro heli on the workshop bench when one ejected itself so lucky that it missed me.
