Ive started to add my electronics to my Gaui and ran into a problem which I think has been solved but. I have a HobbyWing 80A Opto ESC and a Dimension Engineering SportBEC, per the instruction from Dimension Engineering they say that the SportBec lead should go to the Rx if running a Opto ESC. However running the SpotBEC to the rx takes up a port, so I get a Y harness and Im able to plug in all of my servos. My question is can I leave the Y harness in without a problem or do I need to remove it after I bind, thanks for your help.

If you are using the 'Y' harness just for binding the RX I see no reason to remove it after binding. Just be sure to remove the bind plug.

I do a similar thing with my Velocity 50. I just used a leg off the power switch as a bind port. Works great. Your Y connector will, too.
