That's MUCH better than I did with the one that came with my IRCHA 425 kit!

I am still using mine. It is the one in my avatar. One thing I did that helped was to glue an extra piece of the left over plastic inside of the canopy at all 3 of the places where I needed to drill the mounting holes, then drilled through both at one time. It made it much stronger and hasn't cracked yet.

jerry can you tell how you preped the canopy for painting and which type of paint you used.

jerry can you tell how you preped the canopy for painting and which type of paint you used. I just lightly sanded it with #1000 sand paper to dull the finish, then wiped it down with alcohol to clean it. I just sprayed it with cans of automotive paint, added some silver pin striping tape between the two colors, then sprayed a coat of clear over the whole thing. There are some pics of it in the photo thread.
