Great pics. The spare part in the first pic is I think the bit I had spare too ;D Looks like the spacer which goes on the main shaft between the frame and the gear. No mention of it in the manual.

Looks good. I didn't see a pic with the motor mounted. It is a real PITA to get the mesh right. I glued the cheap plastic canopy together and used it on mine, although I did buy a stock FG canopy for it.
Your site looks real nice. Great job.

Hey Jerry, no electronics yet im in the planning/saving stage of that. Im going to see what I can do with the stock canopy then maybe move on to a good canopy. Blogger/Google has great blog templates, if you ever need to design a blog you should check it out.

Hi there Gauiman (cable tie man). May I suggest a use for 8 of those 400 zip ties. I have saved possible damage to my frame in two hard landings. (OK..crashes). I had removed the screws which fasten landing gear to the frame and I inserted 2 small ties into each hole. Facing one forward and one backward, I tied the gear leg to the frame. The crashes caused the ties to "shear off" and left my gear and the frame unscathed. I believe that the ties give a secure fastening and eliminate a more rigid, and perhaps path of energy to the frame, as well as the gear.
This was passed on to me by a helpful club member and I am grateful for the tip. But, if you never have a bad landing it won't help you. ....'ol Dutch said that........

This make me keep updating it with my mis-adventures. I got the straps from www.securecableties.com they are having an awesome sale on cable ties thats why I stocked up on so many. I really hate paying $3.99 for 10 cable ties when I can get 100 for .99 cents thats unbelievable in my book.

Well, I have read your blog quite a few times myself, but I think you know this as I have also left a few comments for you there. ( Yeah, the ones signed "Jerry" were from me, lol). I actually started one of my own just like it but haven't had time to put anything on it yet.
I also realized a long time ago from your pics that you were 'microman' over on Freak. That can be a little confusing sometimes, simply because most of the people that I recognize from the different forums generally have the same user name on all of the forums. I am pretty sure that I replied to some of your posts over on Freak also.
