Ivan, congratulations!! You're going to have to sell at least three of your other helis to make room for that one! ;D ;D

I am going to start the build as soon as I get all my other projects done. I have too many unfinished at the moment.
I need to finish the E4. I flew it again tonight but it needs some tweaks and some loctite.
I need to finish my 450S GF. I flew it tonight but it needs an Align boom and aluminum boom nuts... then find a good home for it.
I need to put the servos back in my Furion. I have not flown it in ages.
I need to completely build my second Furion and find a home for it.
I need to put the servos back in my Gaui 200 FES and see if I can get it to fly without the swash auto tilting.
I need to build my Gaui 200 SE.
I need to put different servos in my HK450B. I have another tweaking HS55.. then probably find a home for it.
I need to do brushless conversions to two HBK2s and then set them up completely.... then off to new homes.
I have to do a direct swash mod on my 450 XL... and find a new home for it.
I have to do a frame change on my T250. I am changing out the CF for GF.
I have a Kyosho Caliber .30 that needs to be gone through.... and new home.
I have to find a new home for another HBK2 CNC and BL.
I have to find a new home for a CX2.
I have to find a new home for an MCX.
I have to find a home for a Falcon .46
I have to find a home for a Hawk .30 Sport.
I have to find a home for an HK450 plastic.
Then maybe I can find the room to build this big ass heli!! LOL..

Holy crap, Ivan!!!! That is one helluva to-do list... I sincerely doubt I've seen a list that long, except at work. OMG! So... perhaps sometime around December next year? LOL!!! I mean, if it were me... Your snow video is nothing short of cool, bro. I have to do snow removal now... we only got about an inch but if you don't get rid of it, it freezes and then you never get rid of it... too little snow for the blower...
Again... what a list, Ivan... I'm dumbfounded!

Wow, that is certainly some, heli to-do list! So I guess what your saying is that you won't be starting on the 600 build till next weekend, huh. That list is almost as long as my wife's honey-do list.

Ivan, that last, "tucked in" photo, has got to go down as an all time classic. Hard not to get a big smile out of that one!!

I installed the servos and got the head set up most of the way. I started laying out the rest of the electronics trying to get a good CG. It is still a bit tail heavy but I am moving things around.

Okay, Ivan.... You've got batteries... things laid out.... The helicopter has had a good nights rest (presumably a warm, all bundled up rest )... so.. When's maiden? Scott

I have batteries but not connectors.. Hobby City was out of the matching connector for the batteries when I ordered them. I actually ordered EC4 and have those here but the correct connectors came back in stock and I have a set on order. I would prefer to just solder one connector to my ESC rather than converting all my batteries.
I am picking up a swash level tool from a buddy this weekend so I can check for any level issues at low mid and high. I am still not 100% sure what to do about CG either. I suspect it will be a week or so. I have already scoped it out and I think I might try to maiden it in the living room. LOL.

Sorry about the connectors. But it's great news that the build is going well. I hope you/we get some decent weather for your maiden.... The last time I flew any helicopter inside except my mSR, I had a mishap with the ceiling fan in the living room... about 25 feet up... that wasn't pretty. I made a deal that it would be the last time I flew in the house! Good luck! Scott

LOL.. the tangle with the ceiling fan sounds spectacular!! Do you have any pictures of the aftermath? I would have crapped myself. I have crashed several helicopters in the house. I have hit quite a few things with the Corona, crashed more than one B400, my Gaui 200 FES freaked out and took out my T-Rex 250... the worst had to be the CPP2 idle up incident. That was CRAZY. I bet I could still find parts of that heli in the living room.
I have maidened EVERY helicopter I have in the living room with the exception of the nitros. So this includes a Protos 500 and a T-Rex 500 ESP. Both are big.. but not T-Rex 600 big!! LOL.

Sadly, no pictures exist...just the broken fan chain. Everything else has been repaired. Blade pieces everywhere...tiny little slivers... broken glass, hanging ceiling fan blade... ugh! Just before that one, I had my own idle up thing... moved the wrong switch.... whoopee! It took off threw the battery out (it took over an hour to find it!) and made a perfect landing in the laundry basket in my step daughters bathroom! As a result of those two incidents, our dog won't come near a helicopter! LOL, Ivan! Man... I can just see helicopters taking each other out... Sorta like Tora, Tora, Tora... LOL! The mental image is priceless! What happened with the CPP2? I have to know! Did you see the video of the guy flying the .90 nitro in a dorm room? Crazy! I mean, seriously crazy. Be careful with the 600, man. Scott LOL.. the tangle with the ceiling fan sounds spectacular!! Do you have any pictures of the aftermath? I would have crapped myself. I worked out a deal right after I got my ESP where I traded my Protos for a 600E CF. Since I got the CF, I have kind of slacked off on the ESP build and have been flying the CF.
Here is a video from today.

Ivan, that's just incredibly awesome, man. Your control is nothing short of stellar. Very impressive flying, sir.
I do have a question and it's not point out anything you did so please don't take it that way. I'm trying to learn what a phasing issue looks like and it looked like during your forward roll, the tail dropped. In a Finless video he had a CG issue with a helicopter and the tail dropped during a roll, but I've also heard the same indication for phasing issues. Of course you could have just wanted to stop the roll, so I'm just wondering?
Thanks!
Scott

Scott, to answer the question... it is my poor flying that killed that roll. I have an issue with rolling during FF for some reason. I was working on correcting that this past fall but ran out of time. I am really rusty in the FF department right now. Hopefully I get rolls down this spring.
The CG of the heli is spot on but there could be phasing issues... ultimately, it is my fingers that are causing it.
